Our client was a true disrupter to UK banking and has gone on to become market leading, truly innovative and highly successful

Client Requirement

The CFO had recently stepped up into the CEO role and he was looking to build out his ExCo team and also their direct reports. We recruited the majority of the team within the first year including the CPO, CFO, COO, CRO and many of their direct reports. We subsequently went on to appoint the Chairman.

Our Approach & Methodology

We recruited many of the roles simultaneously as well as helping define their talent proposition where the brand was new. We also had to attract candidates who had the risk appetite to join a start up and be prepared to look at the whole package when the base salary on offer was lower quartile. Each role had a bespoke search strategy designed to attract talent. We operated at pace, managed complex stakeholders including investor directors and successfully project managed multiple requirements.

Outcome

The bank successfully secured its license and launched into the market with an experienced C-Suite and SLT (50% female). It has now scaled up and continues to grow.
