Miles Advisory support clients to find and acquire the right leaders for our changing world. Our Partners are recognised and long standing industry experts with deep functional and sector knowledge.
The right leaders may often come from less predictable or traditional backgrounds. We know diversity is critical to the leadership capability and maturity in any organisation, and our track record shows we consistently outperform the market norms in creating diverse shortlists and have an exceptional history of placing diverse candidates into role. We offer Executive Search along with a range of complementary solutions to find the talent to create more diverse, attuned and progressive organisations.
We then support these ambitious leaders with communications, capability and culture solutions to create highly aligned and engaged organisations.
Firms like ourselves are shaking up the global search and talent advisory industry as clients increasingly seek to access big brand expertise without the big brand overhead or bureaucracy. We believe our agile, streamlined, integrated team approach is more efficient as:
Our People and Culture practice supports leaders to build powerful connections between their organisation purpose and their people. This results in increased levels of employee advocacy, engagement and so organisational performance.
At Miles Advisory we recognise our responsibilities to our communities – our organisation, our local communities, the wider UK economy, and to the global community. Our company’s vision is to help individuals and organisations ‘Be More’.
This year, Miles Advisory has chosen YoungMinds as our charity partner.
Most of us can remember what it felt like to be young. The uncertainty, pressure to fit in, exams, friendships, first jobs, first disappointments, and the feeling that everything mattered intensely. Growing up has never been easy, but young people today are facing a different level of pressure, from social media and academic expectations to financial insecurity, loneliness and the lasting impact of disrupted schooling and services.
YoungMinds exists to make sure that no young person feels alone with their mental health. They provide practical advice, resources and support for young people, parents, carers and professionals, while also campaigning for better mental health support and a stronger voice for young people.
As a firm, this really matters to us. We spend our working lives thinking about leadership, potential and the conditions that help people thrive. Supporting young people’s mental health feels closely connected to that purpose. Our commitment is not only to raise money, but also to raise awareness. We want to use our network and our voice to help keep young people’s mental health on the agenda, and to encourage more open conversations about the pressures young people are facing. Alongside our fundraising, we will also be looking at how we can use our skills and volunteering days to support YoungMinds’ work in practical ways.
Over the coming months, the Miles Advisory team will be raising money through a number of events and challenges. The first starts on 1 June, when we launch our 60 Miles in June challenge. We’ll be walking, running and moving with purpose to raise awareness and funds for YoungMinds. Photos will follow!
Any donation, large or small, will help YoungMinds continue its vital work supporting young people and those around them
