The client was a global automotive company that had established a joint venture in China. Whilst successful the complexities of managing a joint venture were different to its primary operating model. This was apparent in the approach to HR leaderships, and in particular in managing culture, values & alignment

Client Requirement
The client decided to recruit a China HR Director who had specific experience of managing a Chinese joint venture & the associated complexities & nuances recognised in managing this form of business model

Our Approach & Methodology
We identified a target list of business who had built successful joint venture business in China. We then networked through the HR teams to build a target list of candidates & interviewed extensively

Outcome
We delivered a diverse list of candidates, the successful candidate had significant experience of living & working in China but crucially successful experience of leading HR in a major Chinese joint venture
