Client Profile
Our client was a global Pharmaceutical giant with a reputation for great science & technical excellence but relative to its peers lacked commercial capacity & in particular within its Human Resources organisation. Historically the business had an approach to HR & administration was not a business leading & strategically valued function. The client determined it needed to develop best practice commercial functions to close the gap on its competitors & have comparable performance
Client Requirement
The client wanted to recruit a Global Head of HR for its dominant Pharmaceutical division, a business of enormous scale & complexity. The candidate would need to be a corporate HR leader who could engender best practice. The client felt it was unlikely the candidate would be working in a competitive Pharmaceutical company & wanted to extend the search to companies recognised for developing outstanding HR talent
Our Approach & Methodology
We identified those global businesses who had over decades built a reputation for HR excellence & identified their global HR leadership teams. We quickly identified a preferred candidate whose expertise & track record was a perfect fit
Outcome
The preferred candidate was appointed & went on to transform & rebuild the HR team into an industry wide recognised leading function
