Client Profile
The client was a UK subsidiary of a market leading provider of financial protection benefits
including disability, life, accident and critical illness coverage which help protect millions of
working people and their families in the event of an illness or injury.

Client Requirement
The client wanted to appoint a Chair of Audit and was looking to add to greater diversity of
the Board.

Our Approach & Methodology
Our search activity focused on identifying talent leaders who had contributed at Board level
within market leading, regulated financial services providers including insurance. We fielded
a diverse longlist including candidates where this might be their first Independent
appointment and/or Chair of Audit role.

Outcome
The client appointed a female Non-Executive who had recently started to build a
portfolio. Her corporate background was in market leading international companies prior her
first Non-Executive appointment as a recent Audit Chair. She has since gone on to broaden
out her portfolio.
