Client Profile
Our client was a leading global transportation business with multiple brands & had global business operations. The company had grown largely through acquisition & had failed to either integrate its IT infrastructure or re-platform legacy platforms. As a result the company had cost escalation & performance issues & had failed to embrace digitisation – a major IT transformation was required

Client Requirement
The client wanted to appoint a CIO on the Executive Committee who had previous experience of transforming an IT & Technology function in a globally complex company, to have re-platformed legacy systems, digitised the enterprise & as a result reduced cost & increased performance. The candidate also had to possess exceptional business & organisational leadership skills. The brief was for a world class CIO of exceptional capability

Our Approach & Methodology
Our search was global in nature. We identified relevant target companies who recently & successfully re-platformed legacy platforms & invested in enterprise wide digitisation, from there we engaged with a large number of candidate & interviewed across Europe & the US to produce a shortlist

Outcome
We delivered a diverse, international shortlist & appointed an exceptional candidate whose experience & background was a perfect fit to the size of the challenge
