The client was UK subsidiary of a major European Insurer. Market leading in car insurance amongst other personal lines.
Client Requirement
The client wanted to appoint a successor for their audit Chair and was looking to supplement their general insurance expertise.
Our Approach & Methodology
Our search activity focused on identifying talent leaders who had contributed at Board level within market leading, regulated financial services providers including insurance. We fielded a diverse longlist including candidates where this might be their first Independent appointment and/or Chair of Risk role.
Outcome
The client appointed a retiring Partner from a major consulting firm who also brought insurance expertise which had been gained in major global insurers. He has gone on to become Audit Chair and build out a successful portfolio.
