Chris is a Partner and has a wealth of experience leading senior search assignments across consumer, services, life sciences and technology sectors both in the UK and internationally.
Additionally, Chris has advised clients on Board transition, effectiveness, and a broad range of leadership solutions.
Clients include both publicly listed companies and private equity.
Chris began his career in recruitment in the consumer goods sector before moving into Executive Search in 1998.
Deborah is a Partner and Head of the Board Services and Financial Services Practices.
She advises Boards in the recruitment of Non-Executives (including Chairman and Chairs of Risk and Audit) and is experienced in appointing CEOs, MDs and C-Suite executives across a variety of functional leadership roles.
She brings depth and breadth to her financial services experience and diverse corporate knowledge having worked with the FTSE100, challenger brands and start-ups/fintechs. Deborah’s strong relationships with regulators and other key sector stakeholders are critical in highly dynamic environments and markets undergoing major change.
Previously, Deborah worked with international search firms Heidrick and Struggles and Norman Broadbent and boutiques The Miles Partnership & Warren Partners. Her earlier career was in OD within financial services.
Over the last two decades, Andrea has worked with Government and the broader public sector on a vast array of senior executive and Board appointments, including some of the most sensitive and high profile Ministerial and Public Appointments. She has an extensive track record in the successful movement of FTSE 100 and 250 individuals into the most senior levels of Government and Regulation. She has advised prominent government and wider public sector Boards on recruitment and development and has led a number of successful Board refreshes for organisations such as TfL, London Legacy Development Corporation and the Scottish Government.
She joins Miles Advisory having spent nearly a decade building and leading Green Park’s Government and Public Sector search business. Prior to this Andrea spearheaded Odger’s central and local government appointments.
In his more than 20 years’ experience Derek has gained wide experience in brand management, HR and strategic communications.
He has written and delivered change and engagement programmes on vision and direction, strategy and goals, purpose, organisation culture and values, ways of working and behaviours, employer value proposition, employer brand and key employment experiences including performance management, induction, learning and reward.
He has led effective programme outcomes for a wide range of organisations including: The Kellogg Company, PepsiCo, Glasgow City Council, National Nuclear Laboratory, ASDA, Co-operative Bank, Boots, London Underground, United Utilities, Shop Direct and VW Group.
Derek holds a degree and post graduate diploma in Strategic Communications from UCLAN and recognition for his work has included awards in HR Excellence, CIPD and Personnel Today and the coveted Employer Brand of the Year award for his work with The Kellogg Company.
Marcus is a partner in our Public Sector Practice.
Marcus works across government and the wider public sector on the appointment of senior figures from the private sector in functional leadership, technical specialist, infrastructure, real estate and commercial disciplines into opportunities that have a real impact on public services.
Prior to joining the firm Marcus worked as a Senior Civil Servant, most recently in the Cabinet Office where he designed and directed a ground-breaking campaign to simultaneously recruit over 20 Directors into departmental lead commercial roles. This campaign was instrumental in changing how the Civil Service engaged executive search partners, a process in which Marcus played a key advisory role. This blend of insight into the life of Senior Civil Servants, deep expertise in government recruitment and selection processes, and an ever growing and impressive track record in Executive Search has seen Marcus become a leading figure for clients and candidates alike in successfully filling senior public sector positions.

Emma is a Digital and Content Project Manager. She supports clients in our Advisory Practice through internal marketing and communication campaigns.
She has experience across a number of industries including automotive, healthcare, engineering, hospitality and journalism. She has designed and delivered change and engagement communication strategies to help senior teams of large companies position themselves as a great place to work for new, existing and future employees. Her skillsets include content creation, social media management, video and broadcast production and project management.
Emma has a BA Hons Degree in Television & Radio and has been shortlisted for a number of awards including Most Effective Employer Brand Strategy.
Wendy has been working in this field for over 24 years, specialising in leadership and culture as well as assessment, executive coaching and wellbeing. She has extensive experience assessing the behavioural competence and skills of individuals across many job roles in Government, the broader public sector and the private sector. Her activity supporting organisations to develop their cultures and performance, gives Wendy a strong understanding, and insight, of how the nuances of leadership behaviours translate to impact on motivation, morale and results. Wendy has undertaken research into leadership behaviours that enable inclusive approaches and developed a behavioural model for Inclusive Leadership and supporting assessment tool. She has recently expanded her repertoire into neurodiversity assessment. For a number of years, Sarah worked at Director level, at Clifford Chance LLP, leading and delivering the firms global people projects. Prior to this she was instrumental in setting up the Talent Management Centre of Expertise at Unilever. She has also worked for SHL as a Business Psychology Consultant to clients including Mars, Diageo, Prudential, Vodafone amongst others. Sarah started her career with the Ministry of Defence and during this time worked with all three services and the Fire Brigade.

Sarah has a BSc in Psychology from the University of London, an MSc in Occupational Psychology from University of Nottingham and is a Chartered Occupational Psychologist (registered with the British Psychological Society). She was awarded a prize for Global Achievement by the Confederation of British Industry and has completed an Executive Management Programme at the University of Oxford. She is also qualified in the use of a wide range of psychometric and personality tools.
